The mission of Blackbird Research and Consulting, Inc is to enhance public safety through the provision of high quality research, evaluation, and consulting services on a wide range of topics relating to public safety, including efficiency reviews of police operations and strategies, policy and program analysis, and literature and systematic reviews. Our current projects include strangulation and head injuries in intimate partner violence, criminal harassment in intimate partner violence, civil protection orders and domestic violence, interagency case assessment teams, police investigations of elder abuse and neglect, mental health and policing, voluntary self-exclusion from problem gambling.
